Participate in my new survey
Help us learn more about how people think about friendship, romance, and sex.
Exciting news: I just released a brand new survey that explores how people think about friendship, romance, and sex.
Even more exciting: you can participate in this research by taking this survey.
The survey takes about 15-20 minutes and asks questions about your experiences and views on friendship, romantic relationships, and sexual relationships. Anyone who is 18+ years old and lives in the United States is eligible to participate.
As you might imagine, we are particularly interested in asexual and aromantic perspectives. But we want to hear from other folks too! It doesn’t matter if you’re LGBTQIA+, cisgender, heterosexual, or anywhere in between. We want to learn from your perspectives.
This project is a collaboration with Emily Fox (a sociology PhD candidate at the University of California, Santa Barbara who specializes in friendship) and Hannah Tessler (a sociology PhD candidate at Yale who specializes in aromanticism).
I’m excited to work with this team because we bring together three topics that sociology has tended to neglect: asexuality, aromanticism, and friendship. We know that these are important topics—we just need your help learning more about them.
