Beautifully and thoughtfully expressed. It's about validating, and acknowledging human diversity of gender and sexual expression (of course, within the framework of consent).

Acknowledging the vast range of sexual expression needs to include accepting asexuality as yet another form of sexuality that people do not choose to have. This is increasingly being revealed in the lived experiences of people who have tried for decades to fit in with the heteronormative social narrative, at tremendous personal cost. Therefore, it deserves the legitimacy of a non- normative sexuality, and not be subject to erasure, or coercion.
